Nestled in the straits of Mackinac where the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan meet, Mackinac Island is a National Historic Landmark. With great dining and shopping galore amidst some of the most breathtaking architecture and natural scenery in the world, Mackinac Island offers you an incredible experience.

Daily Itinerary:
Day 1 Travel north to the "Wolverine" State. This afternoon, we will visit Hartwick Pines State Park including a logging camp, lumberman's exhibits, and the "Chapel in the Pines." After dinner, we check into our hotel in Gaylord, Michigan.
Day 2 We continue north to Mackinaw City where we board Shepler's Mackinac Island Ferry. Upon arrival on the Island, enjoy a horse driven carriage tour, then lunch at the Grand Hotel. The afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy on your own. Tour the acres of pristine beauty of the island by carriage or bicycle. Promenade the lake shore boardwalk in the moonlight or simply marvel in the wonders of pampered relaxation. We overnight on the Island at the Inn on Mackinac. Congregate on the victorian veranda for the rebirth of storytelling. Enjoy a night under an unbound sky ablaze with flirting stars, as your troubles merely drift away.
Day 3 Awake this morning to the sound of horse hoofs on the silent streets. The morning is yours to enjoy. Before you know it, our time of grace and grand passions on Mackinac Island will be over. After lunch, board the ferry and travel back to Mackinaw City and our TURNER Motorcoach, traveling south to the Bavarian town of Frankenmuth. Dinner at the Bavarian Inn. Overnight near Frankenmuth.
Day 4 Time to shop at Bronners CHRISTmas Wonderland before we start our journey home, with lunch and rest stops along the way.
