 Day 1: Join your new traveling friends as we travel east to Hagerstown, MD our home for the night.
Day 2 - 3: Depart for Washington, DC, our home for two nights on the Potomac Channel, in the heart of our Nation's Capital. Two full days of touring in Washington to include outside viewing of The Capitol, The White House, and other Federal Buildings. Guided interior tour of the National Cathedral. Tram tour of Arlington Cemetery including Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Kennedy gravesites. Day and night tours of the National Monuments and Memorials (World War II, Iwo Jima, Lincoln, Jefferson, Roosevelt, Korean, and Vietnam.) River Cruise and Lunch on the Potomac River.
Day 4: The day is yours to enjoy at the Smithsonian Institute which encompasses 14 museums and galleries - National Air and Space National Archives, National Native American Indian, American History, and Natural History (just to name a few.) Depart for Hagerstown, MD our home for the night.
Day 5: This day is spent on the road as we make our way back home, reliving our experiences in our Nation's Capital. |
