Daily Itinerary:
Day 1 Arrive Saturday early afternoon for our Backstage Tour of the Grand Ole Opry. Take it all in: the sights, the sounds, and the stories that only happen backstage – before the country music magic happens onstage. Hang out behind the scenes, and be introduced to your famous friends at a brand new, star-studded tour exhibit. There’s simply nothing else like it. We will have a late afternoon overview walking tour of the Gaylord Opryland Resort.  You have your choice of Traditional or Atrium Rooms and must decide at time of reservation.  These rooms are run of the house and we have no idea what section of the resort we will be placed in. The motorcoach will pick us up for dinner at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen. Enjoy classic Deen family recipes in a unique family-style setting just like they do in their very own homes. They serve up endless portions of Southern-Style entrees and side dishes, and every visitor ends their meal with a dessert. A one-of-a-kind dining experience you’re sure to remember. After dinner, we make our way to The Grand Ole Opry. This live performance showcase features today’s country music stars, superstars, and rising stars all on one stage, every week in Music City, USA. The world-famous show is where aspiring stars dream of playing and where music lovers connect with their favorite artists up close at the Opry House. For nearly 100 years, the Opry has been home for country music’s greatest talent and today remains enormously influential in the genre’s growth and change across the world. From the radio show that made country music famous in 1925 to the cultural landmark and global music phenomenon it is today, the Opry is the biggest stage in country music and a must-experience for any music fan. Return to the hotel after the performance.
Day 2 Today is about you! You may choose to spend the entire day relaxing and exploring at the resort. Enjoy breakfast on your own before you start your day. If you choose to join the group we will arrive mid morning at Andrew Jackson's Hermitage. This home  is one of the largest, most visited presidential homes in the United States This 1,120-acre National Historic Landmark features more than 30 historic buildings, a seasonal wagon tour, walking trails, beautiful gardens and grounds and much, much more.  Must decide at time of reservation. You may choose to spend the afternoon at Opry Mills Mall or return to the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Opry Mills features more than 200 stores, paired with unique family dining and entertainment options. Its impressive roster of designer outlet stores, many of which can only be found at Opry Mills in the Nashville area, includes: Coach, Coach Men's, Columbia Sportwear, H&M, Michael Kors Outlet, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, kate spade new york outlet, Nike Factory Outlet, and Vera Bradley Outlet. Other popular retailers include Bass Pro Shops, Build-A-Bear Workshop, LEGO, Vineyard Vines, Boot Barn, Forever 21, and Under Armour Factory House.   Dinner this evening will be at your leisure and at the location of your choice with included meal money.
Day 3 After breakfast on your own at a restaurant of your choice, your bags will be delivered to the motorcoach and we will depart for downtown Nashville. Our time will start at The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. They collect, preserve, and interpret country music and its history for the education and entertainment of diverse audiences. In exhibitions, publications, digital media and educational programs, the museum explores the cultural importance and enduring beauty of the art form.  We will walk to our lunch at Ole Red. This is the country-lovin’ fun you’ve been looking for.  Home of scratch-made eats and live music that’ll blow your boots off, this is your spot for a Shelton-style good time. After lunch, we will walk to the Ryman Auditorium.  A world-renowned concert hall, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame landmark, former home of the Grand Ole Opry, and music’s most iconic stage, Ryman Auditorium is Nashville’s “Mother Church.” The Ryman’s incomparable acoustics create an authentic and transcendent concert experience for every person in the room (even the performers). Its unique architecture and state-of-the-art sound technology make every show one of the best you’ve ever seen. Even skeptics have called it “spiritual,” making it a sacred place for music lovers. When you walk through the doors of the historic Ryman Auditorium, one thing becomes clear right away: this isn't just another nightly music venue or daytime tourist stop. It’s hallowed ground. All good things must come to an end as we arrive home mid evening.
